Summary: Responsible for providing comprehensive case management services to children and families who are involved in, or is at risk to be in the child welfare system.

Education/Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work (BSW) or other Human Services related field is preferred and may be waived if in the process of obtaining Bachelors level degree is well documented within 2 years of employment. Minimum requirement is AA in a Human Services field. Experience working in a human services field is preferred. Experience working with American Indian children and families is preferred. Duties/Responsibilities: Develop case plan with families and monitor to ensure goals are achieved. Provide support and motivation to families in reaching their goals. Work individually with families on parenting issues and building parenting skills. Collaborate with other programs to facilitate family group activities for the purpose of strengthening family structure and build on family values.

Reports to supervisor about: Client non-compliance and other program policies that interfere with transportation scheduling. Duties/Responsibilities: Prepares written audit reports. Stays up-to-date of funding and regulatory changes. Assists program staff in preparation for external audits and program review. Conducts utilization management reviews as needed.

Duties/Responsibilities: Assist Human Services Division Director’s/Managers in developing grant project procedures and audit controls for state and federal grants. Ensure that programming is in alignment with grant, budget, and reporting. Direct oversight of billing compliance for Human Services. Identify and assist with training needs for Division program areas.

Duties/Responsibilities: Provide high-quality health care services within scope of practice designated by the specific certification held by the provider including the following: Accessible and available health services. Education of and effective communication with those served, concerning the diagnosis and treatment of their medical conditions, appropriate preventive measures, and use of the health care system. Treatment that is consistent with clinical impressions and working diagnoses. Continuity of care.

Summary: The Child Support Enforcement (“CSE”) case manager promote the goals of the Leech Lake Child Support Enforcement CHILD SUPPORT Program (“LLBO CSEP”) by providing hands-on, personal case management for customers with the goal of increasing consistent, long-term financial support for the children.

Education/Experience: BS Degree in Social Work (BSW) or other Human Services related field. Experience working in the human service or child support field. Experience working with the American Indian children and families. Experience in working with Tribal and/or District court systems. Experience in Microsoft Office applications.

Duties/Responsibilities: Conducts in-office and telephone interviews with custodial and non-custodial parents. Performs buccal swabs for genetic testing when indicated for paternity establishment. Reviews child support cases and takes the next appropriate action on the cases in a timely manner in accordance with the LLBO CSEP Policy and Procedures Manual.

Summary: The Data Coordinator is responsible for the directions of a comprehensive Band Wide population and service statistics research and projection program, which will serve as the official basis for Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe long-range planning.

Education/Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in Administration is preferred; 2 years A.A. or at least 2 years of experience in related fields will be considered as the minimum requirements.

Duties/Responsibilities: Continuously gathers and develops demographic and service data within the Band. Designs and tests methods of research and data collection. Annually prepares population projections for the Band and its designated, divisions, agencies and other component units and periodically prepares projections for each political geographic division.

BCA REQUIRED

Summary: Assist in the daily operations of the program including supporting youth and facilitating coordination of the education, construction, case management, life skills, job placement and leadership components of the program to meet YouthBuild participant needs.

Education/Experience: Minimum of three years’ professional journey level construction experience required. Knowledge of OSHA regulations and First Aid and CPR training preferred.

Duties/Responsibilities: Coordinate with Leech Lake programs and entities to develop a detailed construction plan and schedule, material needs and other information as required and keep them informed of construction progress and challenges. Identify leadership development and community service opportunities located within the Leech Lake community. Lead and supervise students in community service projects as requested.

Summary: This position is responsible for helping to ensure that the classrooms contribute to the growth and development of each child.

Education/Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Enroll in and attain an Infant/Toddler CDA within first year of employment.

Duties/Responsibilities: Engage in on-going program assessment and monitoring to ensure quality services are being provided. Assist in keeping classroom sanitary, organized and inviting. Provide and deliver developmentally, culturally and linguistically appropriate learning experiences in language, literacy, mathematics, social and emotional functioning, approaches to learning, science, physical skills and creative arts.

Summary: Responsible in meeting each child’s nutritional needs, providing a sanitary environment and establishing good eating habits that promote healthy development and lifelong well-being.

Duties/Responsibilities: Serve Safe training (or similar) and Food Managers Certification or ability to obtain with in introductory period and maintain through recertification classes. Maintain a safe and sanitary kitchen and equipment. Assist the Leech Lake Registered Dietician, Health/Nutrition Manager and/or Lead Cook in menu planning. Must be able to prepare dishes from recipes and adjust recipes quantities when needed.

Summary: Will provide counseling services to American Indian adults, children, and families who reside on or near the Leech Lake Reservation. Services are based on individual, child, and family needs and are offered at varying levels of involvement, such as crisis intervention, individual and family counseling sessions, school based services, family and community support services, and mental health assessments.

Education/Experience: Master Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field and on track for licensure as a Mental Health Professional. Licensed Graduate Social Worker (L.G.S.W.) or Licensed Professional Counselor (L.P.C.) preferred.

Duties/Responsibilities: Develops and implements Individual Treatment Plans (ITP) with clients according to the diagnostic assessment and mental health providers input. Completes psycho-social, functional, and behavioral assessments, to include a basic assessment of risk. Provide weekly individual and/or family therapy for clients. Provide therapeutic groups and activities as needed under the components of Children’s Therapeutic Services and Supports (CTSS).

Summary: Responsible for providing direct mental health services, including psychotherapy, with an emphasis on individuals and families, using various treatment modalities and skills to produce social, psychological, emotional, and spiritual well-being.

Education/Experience: Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Psychology, Marriage & Family Therapy, Counseling, or Social Work and three (3) years’ experience in the mental health field required. Must be a Licensed Psychologist (LP), Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) required. Must be eligible for tribal licensure within 3 months of hire required.

Duties/Responsibilities: Completes initial assessment and reviews client history, including medical and family background and related environment. Provides comprehensive DSM standard diagnostic assessment. Certified or eligible to become certified to provide DC 0-3 assessments for children ages four and under.

Summary: Will work to assist in the improvement of the social and psychological functioning of children and their families and to maximize the family well-being and the academic functioning of children.

Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or related field. Prefer Licensed Social Worker. Completion of Target Case Manager training within one year of hire.

Duties/Responsibilities: Assists the child and the child’s family in obtaining needed mental health services by coordinating with the family and other agencies to assure collaboration of services, effectiveness of services, and continuity of care. Determines need, eligibility, and level of needed services, and provides referral to appropriate providers. Assists in the application for Medical Assistance. Assists in obtaining transportation to mental health services.

Summary: Fulfill the mandatory required of Data Entry on all ambulance calls, process ambulance calls for billing.

Education/Experience: High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (G.E.D).

Duties/Responsibilities: Responsible for data entry of all ambulance calls to the MNSTAR system. Responsible for processing ambulance records to billing company. Work cooperatively with billing company and IHS patient insurance and patient reports to maximize in-coming revenue. Perform EMR duties per EMSRB as needed.

Summary: Process travel advances, audits closeouts, refunds, employee mileage claims and other monies owed to the LLBO through A/R subsidiary ledgers.

Education/Experience: AA degree in Accounting or 2 to 4 years of experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Duties/Responsibilities: Able to do journal entries and understand concept of A/R transaction and the effects on accounts. The principle responsibility of an accounts receivable clerk I is to enter and verify daily information that relates to travel following agency guidelines. Computes travel closeouts for accuracy and completeness.

Summary: Responsible for providing opportunities for parents to empower themselves to become self-sufficient by assessing their needs.

Education/Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.) is required.

Duties/Responsibilities: Be familiar with current Head Start Performance Standards and the Leech Lake Center Based licensing requirements. Utilize developmentally appropriate practices and guidance. Attend Family Service Advisory Committee meetings and also attend parent meetings if requested.

BCA REQUIRED

Summary: Ensure and maintain a safe and welcoming environment at the Community skating rink.

Education/Experience: High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (G.E.D). Ability of ice skating preferred.

Duties/Responsibilities: Maintain skating rink and warming house. Keeping all areas of the facility neat, clean and safe at all times. Making sure all entrances are clear of debris and snow. Responsible for opening and closing facility. Distributes and collects rental skates.

Summary: This position will provide coordination of crisis services for both children and adults who reside on or near the Leech Lake Reservation. The position will involve coordination of suicide prevention, developing and implementing suicide prevention programs.

Education/Experience: Bachelor Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology or related field. 4,000 hours of supervised experience in the delivery of services to people with mental illness. Prefer Master Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology or related field.

Duties/Responsibilities: Responsible for coordination of Mental Health crisis line and crisis teams. Provide follow up surveys to consumers from crisis calls received to the crisis line and Leech Lake Behavioral Health. Follow up with all crisis contracted employees a minimum of one time per month. Set up quarterly crisis training for advocates and crisis team members.

Summary:To adequately staff the ambulance service with certified Emergency Medical Technicians and to provide 24-hour medical services.

Education/Experience:High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (G.E.D). Hold current certification or documentation in a Department of Transportation approved Emergency Vehicle Operators course or complete within 3 months of hire. Must complete within 3 months of hire all advanced life support variances that are part of the ambulance service protocol.

Duties/Responsibilities:Adhere to ambulance policies, procedures, standing orders and protocols. Adhere to policies governing staff conduct. Work a minimum of four (4) scheduled shifts per month at part-time status or 32 hours per week minimum full-time status.

Duties/Responsibilities: Post journal entries to general, revenue and expense ledgers. Assist in maintaining budget file using Excel worksheet. Assist in maintaining grant files. Research, monitor, analyze, interpret and respond to various requests.

Reconcile various G/L accounts as assigned. Assist Controller to establish a summary of reporting for the Tribal Council and Executive Director. Prepare a monthly Source and Use of Funds Report.

Summary: The CD Counselor primary responsibilities is admission and discharge duties, treatment planning, delivery of treatment service, group facilitation; maintain accurate records, progress reports, services provided and family support and education.

Education/Experience: Associate Degree in Human Services or related field required. Bachelor Degree or 30 hours of specialized adolescent training preferred. At least 5 years of supervised work experience in the CD field. An equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered.

Duties/Responsibilities: Work with Program Director and staff to develop a quality and effective treatment program by promoting communication and networking among staff and other related programs. Develop client treatment plans based on research, clinical experience, client’s histories, client’s records and confer with other professionals in order to evaluate mental and physical conditions and to determine their suitability for participation in specific programs.

Summary: Provide dependable financial service to the Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe through expertise and practical procedures for processing and maintaining sound financial records.

Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in Finance or Accounting or; Two-year degree in Finance or Accounting and four years related work experience or; High School diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.) with a minimum of six years’ work experience in Finance or Accounting.

Duties/Responsibilities: Assists the Accounting Team Leader in recording and maintaining accurate general ledger balances and proper recording of revenue recognition. Perform closeouts on special revenue funds to include general journal entries, disbursement vouchers, and submitting financial status reports to funding agencies. Reconcile balance sheet control accounts to subsidiary records and to verify that financial statements are accurate and issued in a timely manner.

Education/Experience: Two-year degree in Accounting or; Accounting courses with a minimum of 1-year work experience in Accounting or; High School diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.) with a minimum of 2 years work experience in Accounting.

Duties/Responsibilities: Assists the Program Accountants and Accounting Team Leader in recording and maintaining accurate financial records. Prepares periodic financial status reports and assists in completing monthly closeouts of general fund programs as they relate to reservation reporting requirements. Compiles and analyzes financial information to prepare and post general journal entries, approve purchase requisitions and disbursement vouchers, and submit financial status reports to programs as requested.

Ensure safe and sanitary conditions in the kitchen and all equipment. Ensure all staff wears all required uniforms, hairnet, gloves, aprons, etc. Plan and follow the cycle menu that provides creditable and nutritional meals for children.

Duties/Responsibilities: Become familiar with the Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe Human Services programs and social service agencies in surrounding counties. Develop an Individual Treatment Plan for clients based on their Diagnostic Assessment. Complete Progress Notes, ITP reviews and Discharge Summaries within the time frame required. Develop and facilitate client support and skills building sessions. Provide transportation when needed.

Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university, or 4 to 6 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Duties/Responsibilities: Supervise and monitors activities and satisfied reporting requirements. Proceeds on own initiative with little guidance. Conducts training sessions on accounts payable issues as needed. Summary: Provides legal advocacy to the Leech Lake Child Welfare Department, including legal representation for the Band in Tribal Court and State Court, review of contracts, and negotiations with the State of Minnesota, Department of Human Services, and County Governments.

Education/Experience: Juris Doctorate Degree. Prior attorney experience preferred. Must have a good Indian Law background and understanding of how Public Law 280 relates to tribal jurisdiction and rights and be able to identify opportunities to expand/recover treaty/jurisdictional right for the Band. Experience with Child Protection (CHIPS) experience with emphasis on the Indian Child Welfare Act preferred. Experience working with American Indian children and families. Experience working with Tribal and/or District court systems. Experience in Microsoft Office applications and case management software.

Duties/Responsibilities: Defend and prosecute on behalf of the Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe in all actions arising under the jurisdiction of the Leech Lake Tribal Court, other state and federal district courts and forums. Provide legal advice and guidance for tribal government administration, program development, tribal businesses and other cases as assigned by the Legal Director.

Summary: Responsible for providing opportunities for parents to empower themselves to become self-sufficient by assessing their needs. Determines if there is a need for services and provides resources to families to enable them to move toward their goals.

Education/Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.) is required.

Duties/Responsibilities: Prepare and submit weekly and monthly written reports as directed by supervisor. Submit family contacts to Team Leader & Family & Community Partnership Manager for case discussion, plan of action and follow-up as needed. Maintain a healthy, emotional climate in the classroom setting. Promote and include culture and language into the classroom and in the home.

VALID CLASS D DRIVER’S LICENSE, SIGNED MVR FORM

Summary: Responsible for thoroughly investigating personal injury, auto, medical, property damage, and accident claims in coordination with insurance adjusters and third party administrators.

Education/Experience: Requires a minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Duties/Responsibilities: Responsible for supporting the Risk and Insurance Manager with the help of the Insurance Clerk. Manage the organization’s claim submission, analysis, and completion process. Help determine whether organization liability exists and consult in-house legal as needed. Assure merited and unmerited claims are effectively managed. Maintain an excellent working relationship with organization’s customers, employees, divisions, and outside insurance vendors.
