The Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe Cannabis Regulatory Commission (the “Commission”) invites community members to a public hearing to review proposed amendments to the LLBO Cannabis Regulations.
This is an important opportunity for the stakeholders to learn about proposed changes, ask questions, and provide feedback on the proposed revisions. All are welcome.

This meeting is open to the public. If you are interested in pre-registering to provide oral comments on the proposed regulations, please contact [email protected] to be added to the speaker list. Speakers will be limited to 3 minutes to ensure time for all parties to participate and are encouraged to reference specific provisions of the proposed regulations in their comments. Interested parties can provide oral comments without pre-registering and will be heard on a first-come, first-served basis once pre-registered individuals have spoken.
Written comments on these proposed regulations are also encouraged. Interested parties should submit written comments by email to: [email protected]. Please provide specific references to the provision you wish to comment on in your submission.
The public comment period will be open until March 21, 2026. Comments received after that date will not be considered.
Following the close of the public comment period, the Commission will review all comments received and may revise the proposed regulations as deemed necessary or appropriate. The Commission intends to adopt final regulations following completion of the public comment and review process. Upon adoption, the final regulations will replace the expedited regulations adopted concurrently with the publication of the proposed regulations.
