Now Accepting Applications – LLBO Summer Youth Employment Program
The Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe Workforce Development Division is pleased to announce that applications are now being accepted for the 2026 Summer Youth Employment Program.
Funded through the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) Supplemental Youth Services Program (SYSP), the LLBO summer youth employment program provides eligible youth and young adults with paid work experience opportunities designed to develop job skills, explore career pathways, and prepare participants for future employment and training opportunities.
This year’s program will provide hands-on work experience in several of the Reservation’s most in-demand industries, including:
- Healthcare and Social Assistance
- Public Administration
- Arts, Recreation, and Entertainment
- Transportation and Warehousing
- Construction
- Accommodation and Food Services
Participants will have the opportunity to gain valuable workplace experience, build professional skills, and learn about careers that support the economic growth and workforce needs of the Leech Lake Reservation and surrounding communities.
